At the end of February this year, Jean-Paul will be attending and presenting at the World Development Report 2004 10th Anniversary Conference, “Making services work for poor people: the science and politics of delivery”in Washington DC. He will be presenting on “Decentralization and Popular Democracy: Governance from Below in Bolivia”. In March of this year, Jean-Paul will be speaking at the University of Cambridge conference “Institutions and their Discontents: Rethinking Economic Development in South Asia”. He will be presenting on “Decentralization and Popular Democracy: Lessons for South Asia”.
